Speedster und Speedster FS
Our recumbent racing bikes
This construction belongs to the fastest design on the recumbent scene. Due to a small frontal area and a very strong frame, you can easily leave all the conventional racing bikes behind. In contrast to the ‘racing bike‘, tight curves can be taken at speed, because your heels cannot touch the ground.
The Speedster is available in different designs, because our modular construction enables you to choose between the different tail versions, with or without suspension and with 20 inch back wheel or 26 inch back wheel.
Version 1: Speedster: without suspension and with 20 inch back wheel or 26 inch back wheel
Version 2: Speedster: with tail suspension and with 20 inch back wheel or 26 inch back wheel
Version 3: Speedster fs: with full suspension and with 20 inch back wheel or 26 inch back wheel
As a standard, we fit the Speedster with
- Avd BB7 disc brakes
- Shi 105 triple racing gears (18 gears)
- Special crank fittings
- Glass fibre seat
Of course, you can tune this racing recumbent bike even further, e.g. with a carbon racing seat (saving approx. 700g in weight).
With the help of the options list, you can customize your Speedster and Speedster fs.
Picture Speedster
With a weight of just 12.8kg and the small frontal area, you can ride as quickly as if you had a racing bike. If you still want to do a tour with this lightweight, simply fit our 2-pannier rack.
Speedster FS 20
The Speedster FS is fitted with a one-armed suspension fork and a sprung tail from the Nomad. The suspension fork is a swing arm (Vespa). This design has a low breakaway torque, so no obstacle on the road will cause you any problems. With a spring extension of 60mm it really irons every road flat.
For standard fittings and technical data, see the Speedster.

Speedster fs 26
The Speedster26 FS is equipped like the Speedster20 FS, one-armed suspension fork and combined with the rear of the Explorer. This increases the travel of the rear wheel to 80 mm. They fly only as bad road conditions and then leave all behinnd you. With the low seat position and the raised bottom bracket, you defy the air resistance and you feel much the speed at which you race across the tarmac. A racing machine without equal.
